Bovine Nirvana

Taken on Armour Ranch Road near Santa Ynez. Come August, this field will look like a desert, but right now it couldn't be more lush.

Generation Gap

Tourists standing at the corner of State Street and East De La Guerra. I got a laugh out of how the two old fellows are totally ignoring the attractive young thing on the right. Of course, she's ignoring them, too, so I guess it's a wash.

Figueroa Mountain Road

I was fooling around doing a panorama of the wildflowers on Figueroa Mountain. This bicyclist rode through my shots, and I decided to just leave him there.

Flowers

Flowers on the table where I had lunch. Unfortunately, they were the best thing there -- a perfectly good tri-tip sandwich ruined with some barbeque sauce that came out of a nozzle. Didn't even taste good.

Photo taken and processed with my iPhone. Among other apps, I used Camera Bag to produce a Helga (an ersatz Holga).

Wisdom

The window of a shop that sells apparel for yoga. There are no layers involved -- just reflections of the buildings across the street.

Full Service Salon/Self-Portrait

I pass this salon on my way to work. It's been there as long as I can remember, but I hardly ever see anyone in there. I always wonder how they pay the rent. If you look carefully, that's me reflected in the glass and also in the mirror inside the salon.

Taken and processed on my iPhone.
